grassroots disbursement

Founded specifically to eliminate the rural resource disparity in Fresno County's western corridor, the Mendota Creating Hope Foundation grew out of local neighborhood advocacy. Agricultural families and civic leaders recognized that waiting for distant aid left our parks and safety programs underfunded.
Today, we operate as an independent fund managed entirely by local organizers who understand the unique rhythm of Central Valley life, ensuring every dollar stays right here in Mendota.
Accountability in action
We believe hope in the Central Valley is practical work. That means immediate, direct disbursement of funds without bureaucratic delay. When local youth leagues need equipment or neighborhood groups request safety gear, our board acts swiftly to deploy resources where they matter most.
Our priority setting remains strictly grassroots. Programs are shaped by families and advocates who live and work in Mendota, ensuring bilingual accessibility and complete alignment with neighborhood needs.
Board oversight and public accountability
Our foundation maintains rigorous financial integrity with transparent fund allocation posted directly for community partners and grantmakers to review.
